The Software Engineer develops system software from hardware to user interface, and therefore is involved in creating the image from which physicians make diagnoses. Responsibilities:Designing and programming all software-related system functions based on specifications. Determining the software structure and advising on the complete system structure. Implementing and/or driving of application programs related to ultrasound systems.

Functie-eisen

The ideal candidate has: A Master Sc. or Bachelor Sc. level education in Information Technology (Technische Computerkunde or Informatica); At least 2 years of experience developing embedded software; Good command of the Dutch and English language; The ability to work independently as well as in a team; Knowledge of the program languages C/C++, Windows XP and Linux is a plus; Experience with the development of embedded software in Xscale processor environments as well as knowledge of Trolltech Qt are also pluses.
